RETURNS & SHIPPING POLICY

1. Shipping Policy

1.1 Shipping Areas

We currently ship to:

  • Italy
  • European Union countries

Shipping to other destinations may be evaluated upon request.


1.2 Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated based on destination, size, and weight of the item.

Standard rates:

  • Italy: as displayed at checkout
  • Milan local delivery (if applicable): free or reduced rate (based on order conditions)
  • EU: variable shipping fees depending on destination

Any customs duties or import taxes for EU orders are the responsibility of the customer.


1.3 Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within a few business days.

Processing times may vary depending on:

  • product availability
  • packaging requirements (fragile/vintage items)
  • restoration or preparation needs

1.4 Delivery Times

Delivery times are estimates only:

  • Italy: 2–7 business days
  • EU: 5–14 business days

Delays may occur due to carriers or external factors beyond our control.


1.5 Packaging

All items are carefully packed to ensure safe transport, especially for fragile or vintage objects.


2. Returns Policy

2.1 Right of Return

Customers have the right to request a return only under specific conditions.

Returns are accepted if:

  • the item is significantly not as described
  • the item arrives damaged during shipping (with proof)
  • the return request is made within the legal timeframe (EU regulations apply where applicable)

2.2 Non-Returnable Items

Due to the nature of our products, the following cannot be returned:

  • vintage and second-hand items with normal signs of age
  • items sold as “restored” or “as-is” when clearly described
  • products damaged after delivery
  • items purchased due to buyer’s change of mind

Each item is unique and may show natural wear consistent with its history.


2.3 Return Procedure

Returns must be approved before being sent back.


2.4 Return Shipping

Unless otherwise agreed:

  • return shipping costs are borne by the customer
  • original shipping costs are non-refundable

For damaged or incorrect items, Svintage Milano will evaluate reimbursement or replacement options.


2.5 Refunds

Once the returned item is received and inspected:

  • approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method
  • processing time may vary depending on payment provider

2.6 Condition of Returned Items

Returned items must:

  • be in original condition
  • include all packaging when possible
  • not show additional damage caused after delivery

3. Vintage Disclaimer

All products sold by Svintage Milano are vintage or second-hand.

Therefore:

  • imperfections are considered part of the item’s character
  • slight variations from photos may occur
  • restoration or aging marks are not considered defects
